Bat Shlomo Ice Wine 2020

The 2020 Semillon Ice Wine was made from frozen grapes and aged for five months in stainless steel only. This is pretty much what you would expect—delicious, sweet and laced with apricot and peach nuances. It also is in excellent balance, though, never overly cloying or unctuous. This is a big winner. It should age well for at least the rest of the decade, likely more; wines like this tend to age well. Of course, as they get older, they do change character notably. There were 170 cases of half bottles produced. Wine Advocate
